A wise woman who was traveling in the mountains

found a precious stone in a stream.

The next day, she met another traveler who was hungry,

and the wise woman opened her bag to share her food.

The hungry traveler saw the precious stone,

and asked the woman to give it to him.

She did so, without hesitation.

The traveler left rejoicing in his good fortune.

He knew the stone was worth enough to give him security for a lifetime.

But, a few days later,
he came back to return the stone to the wise woman.
"I've been thinking," he said.

" I know how valuable this stone is, but I give it back in the hope that you can give me something even more precious.

Give me what you have within you,
that enabled you to give me this stone."

A Pedra da mulher sabia.

Uma mulher sábia que estava viajando nas montanhas encontrou uma pedra preciosa em um córrego. No dia seguinte, ela conheceu outro viajante que estava com fome, e a mulher sábia abriu a bolsa para compartilhar a comida. O viajante com fome viu a pedra preciosa e pediu à mulher para dar a ele. Lodolite é um termo usado para uma variedade de quartzo com inclusões minerais, oriundo do Brasil.

Lodolite is a term used for a variety of quartz with mineral inclusions, from Brazil.

Lodolite has the appearance of an underwater coral reef. The mineral inclusions are very attractive and differ from stone to stone. The colors of the inclusions can range from green, pink, yellow, brown, white, red and multi colors. Most of these colors and mixes of colors come from three main types of minerals, Chlorite, Iron, and Calcite.

Quartz includes a variety of stones and “colorless” or Crystal Quartz is the most common.

Brazil is a major supplier of crystal quartz, especially when it comes to varieties with mineral inclusions. Quartz is found abundantly throughout the world. The word Dendritic comes from the Greek word "dendros" meaning tree, as the inclusions in Dendritic Quartz typically resemble plant life. Dendrite is a superficial deposit of crystalized manganese oxide that has a multi-branching tree-like pattern. Dendrites form when water rich in manganese and iron flows along tiny cracks between layers of limestone and other rock types.
