The Wise Woman's Stone

A wise woman who was traveling in the mountains

found a precious stone in a stream.

The next day, she met another traveler who was hungry,

and the wise woman opened her bag to share her food.

The hungry traveler saw the precious stone,

and asked the woman to give it to him.

She did so, without hesitation.

The traveler left rejoicing in his good fortune.

He knew the stone was worth enough to give him security for a lifetime.

But, a few days later,
he came back to return the stone to the wise woman.
"I've been thinking," he said.

" I know how valuable this stone is, but I give it back in the hope that you can give me something even more precious.

Give me what you have within you,
that enabled you to give me this stone."

A Pedra da mulher sabia.

Uma mulher sábia que estava viajando nas montanhas encontrou uma pedra preciosa em um córrego. No dia seguinte, ela conheceu outro viajante que estava com fome, e a mulher sábia abriu a bolsa para compartilhar a comida. O viajante com fome viu a pedra preciosa e pediu à mulher para dar a ele. Ela fez isso sem hesitação.

O viajante deixou, regozijando-se  a sua boa sorte. Ele sabia que a pedra era suficiente para dar-lhe segurança para toda a vida.

Mas, alguns dias depois, ele voltou para devolver a pedra para a mulher sábia.

"Estive pensando", disse ele. 'Eu sei o quão importante esta pedra é, mas eu vou da-la de volta na esperança de que você possa me dar algo ainda mais precioso.

Dê-me o que você tem dentro de você, que a capacitou a dar-me esta pedra. "

Às vezes não é a riqueza que você tem, mas o que está dentro de você que os outros precisam ..... um dom precioso dentro de você.
